Founded in Adana in 1956 when doctors, chemists, pharmacists, and agricultural engineers pooled their knowledge, expertise, and savings, HEKTAŞ is a pioneering company that has contributed to the development of Turkish agriculture throughout its well-established 70-year history. Our company commissioned its first production facility for plant protection products in Cevizli, Istanbul, in 1962. In line with its expanding production capacity and advancing technological infrastructure, it relocated to its modern production facility in the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone in 1991, further strengthening its position in the sector.
Today, HEKTAŞ is a strong agricultural company that adds value at every stage of agricultural production through the innovative solutions it develops in the fields of plant protection, plant nutrition, seeds, and smart agricultural technologies.
With more than 400 plant protection and plant nutrition products developed through R&D-focused activities in line with industry expectations, HEKTAŞ provides producers with a strong sales and technical support network through its six regional directorates operating across Türkiye.
While maintaining its leadership in plant protection, our company is also increasing its competitiveness in the fields of seeds and biostimulants. HEKTAŞ remains firmly committed to its investments in the seed sector, which is of strategic importance to the future of agricultural production. Through HEKTAŞ Tohum, which operates within its organization, the company develops high-yielding domestic seed varieties that are adapted to climatic conditions and support sustainable production, thereby contributing to Türkiye’s agricultural production capacity.
By combining its 70 years of knowledge and experience with science and technology, HEKTAŞ develops solutions that shape the future of agriculture. Following the establishment of its R&D centers in Gebze and Orhangazi, our company further strengthened its R&D organization with the Ankara High Technology Center, which is certified as an R&D center by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. HEKTAŞ now continues its activities through a total of three R&D centers.

Türkiye’s largest occupational pension fund, OYAK, became one of the shareholders of HEKTAŞ.

Arma İlaç, a manufacturer of veterinary medicinal products, was acquired. Work has begun on establishing a factory in Balıkesir for local pet food production. Included in the BIST 30 Reserve List.

51% of Agriventis Technologies was acquired. It was included in the BIST 30 index. A company named HEKTAŞ Asia LLC was established in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The public offering process for Ferbis has begun. The process of change and transformation has begun. The animal health business line was exited.

Partnership negotiations were initiated for HEKTAŞ Asia LLC. HEKTAŞ qualified for inclusion in the BIST Sustainability Index in the first quarter of 2026.
